| Born
in Penzance in 1951, Paul Richards is the son of Anthony Richards of Penzance
Pottery, Arch Pottery and Penderleath Pottery fame. Paul studied at Falmouth
Art School and worked with Jess Val Baker at Millstream Pottery in Fowey
and with his father at Penderleath. He worked at Porthleven in 1975 before setting up Porthmeor Pottery. Paul preferred to make functional pottery with emphasis on the quality of the throwing. Now living in France, Paul gave up potting a few years ago. (2006) |
