Pen-lyn Pottery - Penny Clifford Mark
Pen-lyn Pottery, Newquay - Penny Clifford - from 1985

Penny first studied under Albert and Elise Rachmann of Port Elizabeth, South Africa, before returning to this country in 1979. She then studied at the Redruth College of Art until it closed in the early 1980's.

Penny has been running the pottery since 1985. She uses white earthenware clay from a local source. All work is hand thrown with an airbrush finish. A platinum lustre is applied to the third and final firing.

Penny currently teaches pottery at Adult Education at Treviglas school, Newquay .
